A Taste of Atlanta

June 16, 2014 Brittany Yang

Everyone loves food. I’m pretty sure that’s a known fact. It’s a source of happiness and satisfaction, and a common language over which people can easily bond.

I was born and raised as a Georgia girl, but city life is all new to me especially since I go to school in the middle of the mountains, too. Since interning at RadiusOnline, I’ve been exposed to so many new experiences in the office as well as out of the office. Designing my days away and learning about the marketing business world gets exhausting, but I’ve definitely been fueling my mind and body with delicious food from the best spots around Atlanta.

I’ve always loved adventuring and checking out local restaurants while learning about the culture of different areas. Really, I just love places and people with uniqueness and character. I believe that everyone has a story and a dream, and I feel like Atlanta is full of them. And food trucks. After all, what’s better than a restaurant on wheels that comes to you? From King of Pops to Highlands Bakery, they are pretty much a genius idea, and luckily, they visit us on Means Street on a weekly basis! All I have to do is walk outside and I have something new to taste.

Every single day I probably hear about at least two new food venues to check out so I decided to slowly build my food bucket list for the summer, and now I am determined to try them all. Some of my favorite spots so far have been HankookTaqueria and Seven Lamps, but I can’t wait to try more like Antico and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Seriously though, the list just keeps getting longer and longer. I might be very broke and also slightly obese by the end, but it will be so worth it.

Sincerely,
