On May 8, 2017, I began my adventure into the world of Digital Marketing at Radius Online. I nervously approached the office at sharply 9 am that morning with a note pad in hand and a desire to learn. On my first day , I was introduced to the team I would be working with for the rest of the semester of my internship. Everyone was welcoming and made a point to make me feel included.
It’s crazy to think that was just 3 months ago and boy has this summer flown by! As I begin to pack to head back for my final semester at UGA, I am sad to leave this little family that has adopted me for the summer. This has truly been an incredible summer of learning and growing. I will miss Friday catered lunches (still dreaming of the churros Vu brought in) and office outings. I think my most memorable experience at Radius was getting to go to the NAC 2017 conference. Guest speakers included Sara Blakely, Tony Robbins, and many more inspirational business leaders. I specifically enjoyed Tony Robbins’ stand up. Going as a company, we could bond over what we took away from this conference and what to work towards. Pitbul also made a guest experience which I obviously was front row for!!!! I think I still have his songs stuck in my head. I am going to miss creating content for the website and getting to see my tweets/blogs published. But mostly I will miss the the awesome team I worked with. Radius Online has a great balance of fun and work.
As I approach my last days at Radius Online, I am thankful for the opportunity to learn and grow not just as a professional, but also as a person. This internship has made me more confident in a professional job scene. I cannot wait to see what is in store for this company and for me after my time here at Radius Online.
