Where do you go to school and why did you choose to go there?
I currently attend Georgia State University. I chose GSU because of its location in the heart of Atlanta, a city that is very dear to my heart. I initially went to school in Marietta at Southern Polytechnic State University, but I transferred to GSU after just one semester. I am glad that I chose to attend GSU as it turns out they have an excellent marketing program and some wonderful professors!
What is a fun/unique/weird fact about you?
I solo traveled throughout Nepal and India in 2013 for three months! I hiked over 150 miles in the Nepalese Himalayas before heading to India, where I rented a motorcycle and traveled around the southern peninsula.
What is your Spirit Animal and why?
My spirit animal is a mountain goat. I love being in the mountains, especially when there is snow on the ground. I like the solitude and the sense of adventure that exists in the alpine.
What 3 words describe you best?
Adventurous, Inquisitive, Sensible
If you could interview anyone, who would it be?
I would love to interview Wim Hof. Better known as Iceman, Wim Hof has accomplished many incredible feats in freezing conditions. I would specifically question him about the time he climbed Mount Everest wearing only mountaineering boots and gym shorts. I am intrigued by Wim Hof because he has done many things that were once believed to be impossible. I wish to know what it is like to overcome a task that the rest of the world insists is impossible.
I love Italian food! My favorite pasta dish is fettuccine alfredo. I make an awesome sun-dried tomato fettuccine dish and it’s the jam, if I do say so myself. I’m also a meat and potatoes kind of gal, sushi-lover, and thai food lover, etc. As for dessert, I love apple pie – and then when you a la mode it…well that’s heaven right there. So many favorites, it’s hard to list them all here!
I’m super excited to learn more about the digital marketing industry. The idea of collaborating with so many different teams and seeking creative opportunities and solutions sounds fantastic.
On a separate note, I also really like that chili cook-off idea that I heard about, I hope we can start that back up while I’m here!
I can’t rollerblade! But I can juggle, so that should make up for it.
Spiders, snakes, bees, and birds flying at me.
I would say sea otter. I love the ocean! Also otters are cuddlers and appear to be pretty chill animals. I can relate to that!
I went to The University of Georgia and graduated in 2014. Aside from the great academics, the downtown scene is awesome! There’s always a show to see, a brewery to try, or a dive to check out – and that’s what Athens is about. I definitely recommend a visit to the Classic City!
Ambitious, Silly, Adventurer
All the foodie events and company outings with the team!
David Beckham. International soccer star, philanthropist, recipient of that flattering accolade from People Magazine, British – what more can I say?
A big chunk of that would definitely go to my parents. They’re amazing and I cannot thank them enough for all they’ve given me!
But once I get all crazy with it (hopefully not), a backpacking trip is a must. That would also include buying a nice bungalow or villa overseas. Thanks HGTV for the inspiring tips.
