Yesterday afternoon, the whole office came together to listen to each department give a presentation on what they did from January to June of this year. As a new intern, it was really fascinating to see how much RadiusOnline has grown in such a short amount of time. I couldn’t believe all of the projects that everyone works on that I had never even heard of. This quarter it seemed like everyone was able to increase their work load all while completing their tasks more efficiently, which was really cool for me to see.
Since the online marketing interns couldn’t exactly give a mid-year presentation given our short amount of time here, here’s my “mid-internship” update:
So far, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. In fact, the worst part is just my drive through Atlanta traffic. I think I like it so much because I am able to work on projects that actually matter. My blog posts have lead to higher traffic on our websites, and my e-mail campaigns are leading to more prospects and conversions. It’s really cool to actually see how my work impacts the company as a whole. I’ve also learned a whole new skill set that I’ll be able to take with me after my internship is over. From Pardot to Trello, it is super helpful being able to use online platforms that I’d never even heard of to make my work easier and more organized.
I love being a part of an organization that is growing as quickly as we are. It’s exciting to look around the office and see everyone’s hard work paying off with statistics like a 49% traffic increase and a 19% increase in new customers. Everyone is always working as hard as they can, and I love being able to contribute. My six weeks of interning here have flown by, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead!
